Our Build Process

About Us

Building decks for homes that host, gather, and last.

CNR Construction and Home Improvement LLC is a deck builder based at 11 Ward Street in McDonough, Georgia. Every build starts with poured concrete footings, gets framed in pressure-treated lumber, and is fastened with ring-shank nails rated for Georgia weather.

Our Approach

We set the footings, square the frame, and finish the surface with boards that sit flat for years. You see the layout, the material list, and the price before a single nail goes in.

Precision x Endurance

Poured concrete footing anchoring a deck post

Built on lumber

Pressure-treated joists and beams are cut on site, crowned, and spaced for a surface that will not flex underfoot. Ring-shank nails hold the boards tight through Georgia humidity and heat.

Set in concrete

Every post lands on a poured concrete base dug below the frost line and anchored with a galvanized bracket. That footing is why the deck stays square long after the build is finished.
